The Dublin Planning Commission is meeting on 8/14 at 5pm to discuss this project. Please feel free to email the Planning manager at planning.mgr@ci.dublin.ca.us to give your support and include any comments about the Grafton Station project. Better yet, attend the meeting and voice your support in-person!
I did hear about the meeting and will do everything I can to make it!!
Any word on the 16 story hotel? I heard there was an article in the newspaper.
The article in the paper mentioned the height of the buildings. The entire project will go through, but the builder probably doesnt even want to go the 21 story height, but it is a starting point to get to about 6-9 story. Overall the project looks pretty sweet, but more commercial needs to go in and less residential.
I can’t wait to see this project move forward. I live next door at The Terraces and would love to see this area a destination for the Valley.
Oh yes, this would be quite the destination! It is an exciting project; I just hope Dublin will look a bit closer at the planning as we move forward. Hopefully housing values will go up as a result of Grafton Station and the Promenade around the Dublin Ranch Condos area.
I live at the terraces and was wondering if anyone knows if they will build another supermarket nearby? Now I shop at Safeway but it will be nice to have a closer market we can walk to. Also, Safeway can get crowded at times.
To answer your question, I don’t know. Not sure if grocery stores will make their way to Dublin Ranch. Whole Foods will be opening on the Green at Park Place (former IKEA location). No word on grocery stores yet.
